For three years, PAACT has partnered with Mayor Andre Dickens and the Rotary Club of Atlanta to recognize early educators with cash bonuses and the “Mayor’s Award for Early Literacy” through Rotary’s Early Childhood Champions Teacher program.
On April 20th, we presented this award to 16 teachers who completed a series of state-approved literacy-focused professional development courses. We are deeply grateful to everyone who continues to champion early literacy in our city!
