Help For Families

  • APS Cares - APS Cares is a resource search tool that helps individuals find access to support services by zip code. These services include financial assistance, food pantries, medical care, and more.
  • United Way of Greater Atlanta – 211 - A resource for services that help families stay housed, fed, safe, and healthy. Families can connect to 211 by phone, text, or online.

Early Education & Child Care

  • Bright by Texts - Sign up to receive practical parenting tips and activities via text. Text “GPB” to 274448.
  • Find Child Care - Call 877-ALL-GA-KIDS (1-877-255-4254) to speak with a referral specialist.
  • Quality-Rated Child Care Search Tool - Make choosing the right early child care easy with the Quality Rated search tool—explore over 6,000 licensed programs, compare safety reports, pricing, and more, all in one place.
  • Apply for Childcare and Parent Services (CAPS) - The CAPS program supports early education goals by assisting families with low incomes with the cost of child care while they work, go to school or training, or participate in other work-related activities. 
  • Apply for the PAACT Scholarship powered by BOOST - PAACT provides eligible families with scholarships to help alleviate the cost burden of child care.
  • Pre-K - Enroll in Georgia’s Pre-K program.
