Joi Ector

Joi Ector is passionate about bridging the educational gap between under-resourced and well-resourced communities. A rising junior at Southern University A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Joi is pursuing a degree in Child and Family Studies. She's also an Activities Coordinator for the Child Development Club and Senator for the College of Agriculture, Human, and Environmental Sciences. As PAACT's summer intern, Joi will support the Atlanta Early Education Ambassadors program. She looks forward to gaining meaningful experience that will help guide her toward her future career path. Outside of her academic and leadership responsibilities, Joi's favorite creative outlet is drawing.
